Hall Mountain Rabbit Beagles is owned and ran by Philip Hall and Hunter Hall. The kennel is located in the Northwestern part of Virginia, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in a little town called, Crimora. We are a bluetick beagle kennel. Our bloodlines include mostly Branko and Northway breeding, but there are also some other bloodlines present. At this point in time, we have only ran in the UKC beagle program, but we do plan to try out other registries in the future. All of our dogs are AKC and UKC registered. We occasionally have puppies, but that will be stated on the puppies page if there are any available at the time. We are pleasure hunters first and foremost, hardly ever shooting at a rabbit, and titles are just a bonus. The dogs need to be able to circle a rabbit back to the gun, whether solo or in a pack, that is their job. Our dogs are also not afraid to get in the brush, they are working non-stop to get that rabbit up, and keep it going. Our hounds run a minimum of 7 on the speed scale out of 10, but they have the brains to do what is best in their circumstances. We are also trying to develop a bluetick beagle that is built right, for speed and endurance. Conformation is a key attribute for a dog, because a dog with good conformation will hold up better and live longer. Our overall purpose at Hall Mountain Rabbit Beagles is to develop a bluetick beagle with good conformation & hunting ability. We run our hounds every weekend, whether pleasure hunting or trialing, and maybe once or twice throughout the week, and we invite anybody to come run with us. We do not trial on Sundays, but we do occasionally go run in the afternoon. Thank you for visiting our website.
